Scanning problem: Message - Unrecoverable Error. Operation stopped
OK, reloaded Acrobat 6 and installed Acrobat update. Reloaded old HP 3500 C software and driver. Did not load twain update from HP. Here is what occurs
First scan, not problem, no error messages, works like it should.
Second scan, wants to load some missing software, but before it has a chance to load, press cancel. Scanner scans and Acrobat works ok.
Have found that if you cancel HP message that it wants to load some updated software immediately, and I mean right now, no delays, it works ok. Hey, this is convenient.
My guess, there is a problem with the update from HP. So, Adobe, get on the telephone, talk to HP and get this fixed. And please don't tell us that its is HP's responsibility. It is your software that I want to use. Capish
